Mingles Mingling

NOTE: this story takes place between "Released" and "A Separate Solution"

-----------------

They met at a bonfire, on a beach in northern Chili. A raucous summer party, with plenty of young men and women to have some fun with.

Demi was already there, having insinuated herself into the small crowd. She’d spent the past few weeks bouncing around college campuses and arranging encounters with travelers, getting to know the mortals of Earth and Thrae. She’d enjoyed dozens of flings already, but had yet to select anyone as a dedicated Plaything. There were a few very nice boys and girls she fancied, had played with several times during her sojourns, but in the end, she kept moving on. Such was the nature of an Omnymphotent, of course. An all-powerful sex fiend couldn’t settle for just one mortal lover. But both of her progenitors had quickly filled their little black books, so to speak, while Demi was content to take her time settling.

In part, she liked people too much to chain them to her as “Playthings”, the way her parents did with their lovers. She was happy to bring some joy into the lives of lovely people seeking pleasure, and soothe the aches of lonely hearts, but she knew letting them get hung up on her ultimately wasn’t healthy, when she couldn’t provide them a stable relationship.

Even now, as she sat in the sand, she suppressed the natural erotic presence of her being, so that the young party-goers would not all be entranced by her presence. Unlike her one mother, she wasn’t going to floor the whole crowd just standing cool and statuesque in their midst. And unlike her other mother, she wasn’t going to just pounce on half the partiers without any sense of tact. As she scanned the crowd, she saw several boys and girls whom caught her interest. She’d give them all a little more time to find someone to pair off with, before introducing herself to the ones who struck out. Or, if none of them did, she might be able to convince a couple to let her join the fun!

No pressure, though. Despite being the fusion of two Omnymphotents with their own forceful personalities, Demi herself was a pretty relaxed girl. Despite combining the memories of the wildly lascivious Lettie and the commanding sensuality of Devi, the two balanced out in her to be a chill young woman in total control of her desires. Just sitting here, among the happy vibes of the partying young adults, was almost enough by itself to satisfy her needs for mortal companionship.

Almost. She did, of course, plan on getting it in tonight. She just wasn’t desperate for it. So, even as a few random guys or girls noticed her and chatted her up, she let the seed of interest germinate in their minds, but didn’t push to inflame it like her parents might have. She let them go, and added them to her list for later consideration.

And then, a new arrival appeared in their midst, and Demi knew at once that her mortal options had become a distant second. The half-Indian, half-American girl had just gotten to her feet to go get another beer, when she snapped her gaze towards the darkness. Well in the shadows of the dunes beyond the fire’s reach, Demi saw two crimson eyes glowing in the dark. Momentarily stunned, her power slipped a bit, and several of the people around her felt themselves flush with excitement. Those who had partners hugged them, a few kissed, and those by themselves found their eyes wandering to scope the most attractive around them, and debate their chances for a hook up. Demi, of course, was suddenly the center of attention for that moment, and three separate guys all tipsy enough to act before thinking started walking over to her to introduce themselves.

Demi quickly tamped her lustful aura down, a little annoyed at herself for letting it slip. Letting herself simmer among the hormonally charged crowd had gotten to her a bit more than she expected. With a thought, she extended the notion that she was not so very interesting after all, and the boys who’d noticed her found their eyes diverting to other girls instead. She did a quick check to make sure no one was going to start rutting right there in front of everyone and cause trouble; it seemed not, thankfully, just some awkward boners and a few damp bikinis that would sort themselves out naturally.

With that, Demi stepped around the little clusters of people, heading out of the fire’s light, her eyes firmly fixed on the crimson gaze beckoning her from the shadowed dunes. There she met another girl she knew at once was just like her: a fusion of other goddesses.

She was a mixture of French and Korean, her skin pale, her hair platinum blond and done up in twin tales. In the moonlight, she was almost ghostly, starkly contrasting Demi’s own light brown skin and long black hair. Even more drastic, of course, were her eyes. Whilst Demi’s were a soft hazel-brown, the other girl’s were a rich crimson, softly glowing, with the pupils slit like those of a viper. The glow had faded some, now that the girl had Demi’s attention, but it was still quite noticeable in the dark.

Despite the almost menacing effect, Demi didn’t feel an ounce of hostility from her. In fact, the girl smiled sweetly, and spoke with a soft, honeyed voice. “Hey, there.”

“Hey yourself,” said Demi, glancing her over again. She was almost achingly pretty, especially when she smiled.

“Thank you,” she said, intuiting Demi’s thoughts. “You’re quite adorable, yourself.”

Demi grinned a bit bashfully. “Aw. You’re too kind.”

“I try.” The two girls giggled, feeling a bit giddy as they opened their minds to one another. Omnys didn’t really need to spend much time getting to know each other. Despite their eternal existence, they were perfectly fine cutting right to the chase when it came to introductions. No need to drag things out across weeks of dating, or trying to trick one another with false pretenses. Just open honest about who and what they were.

Of course, it may have helped that both girls, despite each having the shared memories of other Omnys, were effectively new to the world, and so there weren’t really any secrets to hide. Just like Demi, this new girl, Wyllow, was her own person, entering the world with fresh eyes. Simultaneously wiser than their parents, and more innocent. It was a strange experience that was unique to them, and perhaps that was why they felt such an instant, easy resonance.

“Wyllow. Even your name is pretty.”

“Thanks. Cyl thought of it, though. I like that you thought of your own. Demi’s cute, and I can respect the sentiment behind it.”

Demi chuckled. “My Moms are still a bit annoyed about it.”

“Well, you are your Moms, so technically, it’s their own fault.”

“Point.”

The two stood in silence for a bit, just basking in each other. It wasn’t until they physically heard the cries of passion that they realized their combined presence was having a wider effect than they had intended. The two turned to see half the people on the beach already having sex, or frantically masturbating, others running off to find places more private before starting. Despite being at least a hundred yards from the nearest person, the erotic essence of the two young Omnys formed a circuit of tangible sexual tension that radiated outwards. The mortals caught in its wake found themselves overwhelmed with desire.

“Oops!” The two girls giggled and eased back their energies, tightly constraining it between themselves. Demi grinned sheepishly. “Jeez, I usually have a lot more control than that.”

“Sorry, I caught you by surprise, and I suppose I wasn’t being careful, either. We should head somewhere less crowded.”

“Let’s make sure there’s no bad fall-out from this first.”

“Of course.” So saying, the two cast a bit of power outwards, tweaking bits of body and memory to ensure that no one was going to regret their actions in the morning. There would be no unexpected pregnancies, no one was going to try and rape anyone, no one was going to cheat if they were in a committed relationship. They might feel very embarrassed the next morning, but no one was going to really have regretted this night of passion. Also, they made sure no one was going to get busted by the cops or get sand in unfortunate places.

With that settled, the two girls took advantage of the mass-distraction to teleport elsewhere.

They reappeared in the Planar Void, drifting in the infinite, iridescent cloudscape. They already had their arms wrapped around each other, their lips and groins pressed together, not bothering to reform their clothes.

They were Omnymphotents, after all, their sex drives enhanced to legendary levels. Despite the fact that both girls had achieved a stronger control over their compulsions at the time of their creation, the spark of attraction had spiraled their desires into an irresistible force. They were going to fuck sooner or later, and neither had any reason at all stall the inevitable.

They melted into one another, the erotic energies unique to the Omnys forming an unbreakable circuit where they touched one another. Their upper and lower lips refused to part, and they clung together tightly, clutching with a frantic passion neither had yet felt with any mortal lover. They cut right to the most direct form of stimulation, directing their own energies to course through one another, striking every nerve in one another’s bodies with pulses of pleasure that would have outright killed a mortal. They reached orgasm quickly and simultaneously, and they stayed in orgasm, riding the peak of sexual climax, multiple releases spiraling together in one long, unfathomable state of limitless bliss.

Their bodies dissolved, transforming into the very energy they were using to stimulate one another, and in the timeless realm of the Planar Void, they experienced a subjective decade of climax.

Finally, however, the tension was eased. Their energies slowed, the maelstrom of pleasure settled, and eventually, their bodies reformed. They held each other, basking in the afterglow, and they were almost surprised at how smooth it all went. In their memories, their parents often felt rattled and hung-over, for lack of a better term, after the tremendous Energy Climax, but for the two of them, they just felt winded. They didn’t push it, however, and waited until they felt fully refreshed before they got moving again.

***

Neither girl had a World of their own to go to, and neither felt like imposing on their parents so soon, so they found a nice, uninhabited island on Thrae to emerge onto. They sat, still naked, on a sunny beach in late morning, making towels appear for them to sit on. They sat a couple feet apart, but their energies coiled together like hands held between them.

That was intense!” said Demi with a laugh. “I think we nearly Mingled back there!”

“No kidding!” said Wyllow, smiling. “That would be interesting, though. We’re already Mingles of two. Would a daughter of ours be Mingles of us, or would she be like all of our mothers making a four-way fusion?”

“Probably the latter. I feel like my own person, but I don’t think I’ve been around long enough to really have enough memories of my own to contribute to the mix.”

“Same. We should probably give ourselves at least a century before we try it.” She glanced to her new lover. “Um, not that I’m saying we should.”

Demi chuckled. “Yeah, let’s not get ahead of ourselves just yet.”

Wyllow chuckled with her. The two sat in silence for a little while, watching the horizon, before Wyllow spoke up. “So. Devi and Lettie, huh? Have to confess, I wouldn’t have expected that match up.”

“Hey, me neither,” said Demi. “But I think it does them some good. Lettie brings a little levity to Devi’s life, and Devi helps reign Lettie’s wild side in. I think that’s the balance that informs my own mind.” She glanced over. “What about you? I can see Cyl and Whitney being lovers, but I guess I didn’t know they were that serious.”

Wyllow looked thoughtfully at the distance again. “Whitney admires Cyl. She has a different way of doing it, but they’re both trying to be good guys. Whitney just focuses on the social side of things, helping mortals with relationships. Cyl’s more worried about the bigger picture.” She shook her head. “Too big a picture, if you ask me.”

“She left the Omnyverse, right?”

She nodded. “Temporarily. I think that’s why she made me.” She looked to Demi. “Cyl cares for Whitney, but not quite as much as the other way around. Cyl cares about all of us, about the Omnyverse as a whole. Not that Whitney doesn’t, but Whitney’s a romantic, more focused on the relationships she’s cultivated. Cyl’s a superhero, she’s focused on the stability of the world. Different motivations for making me. Cyl wanted to be able leave and see what else was out there, without feeling like she was shirking her duties. So she made me to be her fill-in Etiquette enforcer while she was away. Whitney was just happy to have a daughter with her, to forge that stronger connection.”

Demi frowned. “That’s a lot to throw on a girl.”

Wyllow shrugged. “I’m not exactly against the idea of helping my mother keep things stable here. And Whitney knows what she signed up for. Still, I know it’s upset her more than she wants to admit that Cyl left so soon after they made me. And I think Cyl’s going to realize just how much she misses her sooner rather later. When she comes back, I’m going to make sure they get some quality time together.”

Demi nodded. “Well, at least you were made for a serious reason. My moms just did it because Lettie thought it would be funny, and Devi was just curious.”

“You think they don’t really care?”

“I think your moms take their feelings very seriously. Mine don’t give theirs much thought.”

“Still, there’s a freedom in that, isn’t there? You don’t have any responsibilities to worry about.”

“I mean, you don’t, either. Not really.”

“I could just shirk my duties. Unlike Cyl, I’m not obsessed with a higher purpose. But I do care about the Omnyverse. I want to be good to people, but I’m not, like, aching for some kind of cosmic validation, or whatever. I think that’s how I’m balanced. I got Cyl’s sense of thrill, and Whitney’s sense of fun.”

Wyllow shrugged again. “To be fair, most of the others are pretty well-behaved. It’s not like I have much to enforce right now, other than giving Shady or Domina a smack on the wrist the next time they push it with the Etiquette.” She paused, then manifested a plank of wood, and gave it a few solid knocks with her knuckle before vanishing it again. She winked to Demi, and the two giggled.

“Speaking of, do you think Shady’s going to try Mingling next?”

“Probably, though I don’t really see our mothers or Domina going for it. Maybe Megan? I don’t know her well enough to tell.”

“Me neither. Can’t say I can predict how that would balance out. Would she be cool, or would she be even crazier?”

“Guess we’ll have to wait and see.”

The two girls were silent for a while longer, watching the waves gently lap at the shore.

“So,” said Wyllow. “Now what?”

“I dunno,” said Demi, with a shrug. “You want to keep hanging out, or you want to call it here for now? I don’t want to hold you up if you want to go out and get some more experience.” She grinned. “I wouldn’t want to spoil your youth, or anything.”

Wyllow smirked. “You’re only a few weeks older than me.”

“Exactly. Wouldn’t want people thinking I’m a cradle robber!” The two laughed.

“Honestly? I don’t mind seeing other people, too, but I feel very comfortable with you. If you don’t mind, I’d like to travel around with you a bit.”

Demi cocked an eyebrow at her. “Are you sure?”

Wyllow made a thin frown. “Well, no pressure. If you want your space, I’m sure I can make do.”

Demi shook her head and gave her a reassuring smile. “No, actually, I feel the same way you do. I just didn’t want to pressure you either.”

Wyllow smiled back. “Okay then. No pressure all around. I’d be glad to be your travel buddy.”

“And I’d be glad to help you out with your duties, if needed. Be your battle buddy, as it were.”

“I appreciate that.”

Demi grinned. “Buddies it is, then. With all the benefits.”

“Benefits is my middle name!”

“Do you even have a last name?”

“Does any Omny?”

“I do. Colika.”

“How silly.”

“I know, right? I took it anyway, just so Lettie wouldn’t feel left out.”

“You’re a dutiful daughter.”

“I try.”

The two giggled again, coming together for a kiss. Then, they teleported off into the wider Omnyverse, to find new adventures together.
