Before she’d even entered the room, Sal knew she was coming. He was nonetheless rather startled when, instead of the towering Indian woman of Amazonian stature and exotic fashion sense, a five-foot-nothing young woman with horn-rimmed glasses and an utterly bland turtleneck sweater and slacks, came into the room with the last of the students. She still had some of that calm, confident allure about her, but her body language and resting bitch face made it clear she was there to study, not get chatted up by her fellow students.

The Day The Earth Stood Shady
Reclining on one of the chains of her Golden Net, Shady cast her gaze over the Earth and Thrae, to see which of her many hapless Playthings she might add to her tease-torture realm. As she hummed to herself, the mortals closest to her gasped and writhed in agonizing ecstasy, her mere presence enough to inflame their lusts to madness-inducing levels, her little hum vibrating their very souls. Their chorus of cries and moans, and the psychic feedback of their sensual torment, soothed her own body quite nicely, filling her with happy warmth.
Okay, so she wasn’t exactly a songstress on par with her daughter, but whatever.
Thoughts of Opal turned to thoughts of Jax. Both her Descended had opted to move away, and Shady briefly wondered if she should feel more bad about it than she did. Not that she ever felt that bad about much, but their combined absence was noticeable. She was at least used to feeling Jax’s presence, but the shut door between the Primary and Secondary Omnyverses made for a telling mental silence.
She really had intended to move to the Second at least part time, treat it as a summer home, but in the end, she couldn’t bring herself to leave the Primary Omnyverse for too long. Even when the rest of the “Dark Omnys” migrated over, Shady’s visits were more weekend flings than seasonal sojourns.
It wasn’t difficult to get in touch, of course. The difference now was that it just took a conscious effort to connect, instead of simply not blocking the connection out.

Videomnys (A Mini-Movie)
Finally, the Omnys get a video of their own! And I didn't even have to crunch the vid quality too much this time! :V
I had some of the lines for this recorded months ago, actually, but didn't get around to fleshing it out fully until this weekend. This is fairly typical of how the Omny stories get made these days. When it came to the graphics, I kept going back and forth on whether to use Koikatsu or Honey Select 2. As you'll see, I ended up just saying fuck it, and using both. On the one hand, I really wanted to do the actual erotica aspects in Honey Select 2, with its more realistic models, while Koikatsu proved easier to work with for the conversation scene. Since both programs have been integral to fleshing out the cast in the past, I suppose it works well enough to showcase both.
Speaking of videos, Fun With Shadows was initially going to feature Kat roleplaying as Shadow Mask. As I worked on the script, though, I opted to just have Shadow Mask be her own character. Of course, she'd fit right in with the Omnyverse, as a kinky superwoman in Paramour Powers, Thrae, or a similar World!

Loosening Up
A Game of Blind Dates: As the number of Omnys increased, and distinct cliques were beginning to form as a result, Whitney thought it would be a fun idea to devise a new game that would open up more chances for her fellow Omnys to connect. Omnys who wanted to participate would throw their names into a hat, and the names would be pulled out two at a time. Those who were paired off would each be sent to a private pocket dimension, committed to spending an entire day with one another.
While the odds often paired off girls who were fully down with playing together, those more isolating or shy Omnys who could be convinced to join the game might get the chance to hang out with someone they wouldn’t have previously considered!

Lettie popped into being on a stretch of soft sand. She was in the middle of a tiny, peaceful island, mostly sand with a few trees, the sea gently lapping at the shores. To her left was a small wooden shack with a bed. In front of her was a quartet of logs surrounding a small ring of pale stones, ready for firewood. The sun was already mostly set, and the stars were just starting to peak through the twilit sky. Lettie sat down on the sand, using one of the logs as a backrest, and waved her hand towards the stone ring, creating a self-sustaining fire without bothering to collect any wood first.
A moment later, Megan suddenly appeared. She glanced over to Lettie and scowled.
“Great,” she muttered. “Why do I gotta be stuck with you?”
Lettie gave her a bemused smile and a shrug. “Probably cuz it’d be funny? Cuz I’m the chipperist and you’re the bitterist?”
Megan blinked, then scowled deeper. “Probably. What a pain in the ass.”
“Sorry I’m not Shady,” said Lettie with a smirk. “I know you love her more.”
Megan’s scowled lessened, but didn’t go away entirely. “Love is laying it on a little thick. I like her sometimes.”
“Just sometimes?”
